Front Cross Member (Painted)

This is the front cross member of the 72 GMC pickup after a sandblasting and a couple coats of Eastwood Chassis Black. It may need one more coat of paint, but I don't plan to make that decision until next week. I need to get a good look at it under natural light. If it is good, it is assembly time.

In the background you can see many other pieces ready for assembly.

Aww! Is it going to be black? I thought it would be red.

Nope, not black, but if you look under your car, almost everything is black.

Your garage looks so mouch more organized in pictures?! Hmmmm, is that really your painted cross member?

I took the picture from six different angles. This is the one that looks least cluttered. :)

Always thinking ahead...?

Most impressive. I'm always curious about how things are put together and work, perhaps that's why hubby has me talking to mechanics and making repair appointments. LOL. How exciting that you can do all of that with your own two hands!
