Picasa
Google recently bought a company called Picasa. I had never heard of them before today. Hit their site http://www.picasa.com and download their free software courtesy of Google. To quote them, Picasa is "Everything you need to enjoy your digital photos in a single application." Give it a try. My first impression was "This thing rocks."

Tried it, uninstalled. For some reason it created 2 albums(?) of everything. Looks intriguing, so I may install it again another time, but it definitely wasn't love at first sight.
